The water of The Word

In John 15:3 Jesus said to the disciples “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you”. It was the purity of God’s Word that cleansed the souls of the disciples. God’s Word washes our thoughts, it cleanses our hearts and minds, as we meditate on it and put it into practice. God’s Word renews our minds, it clears our perspective, and it gives us clear focus. The cleansing power of God’s Word is what keeps our hearts from being full of doubt, fear, and confusion. Allow God’s Word into your heart that it may cleanse you. “How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word”. (Ps. 119:9).
