“Waiting on The Lord is a state of mind and a state of being. It is something that’s done in our spirit. It is a place of peace and rest. Waiting on The Lord is us resting in Him, allowing Him to lead us. Living in that secret place. It’s a good place to be in.”
Isaiah 40:31 Says: "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint".
The verse is implying that inner strength and renewal is a byproduct of waiting. It is in the process of waiting on The Lord that we get direction for the journey, strength for the journey, and the energy to push through. Waiting on The Lord is like putting a dead phone on the charger and allowing it to power up. The power up is in the waiting. The renewal of strength, the mounting up on eagles wings, the running without getting weary, the walking without fainting; is all made possible when we wait on The Lord. Waiting on The Lord is your power up.

Amen! As I was meditating this morning I was led to this post. So good! We can’t know the direction the Lord is taking us unless we are sitting with him in his presence waiting on his leading. And as you mentioned, getting that strength from him, so that when it’s time to move we have the motivation, the direction, the supernatural power to go forth. Thanks for this Pastor.
